Hello Young Democrats,
Thank you to those who joined us for our city/county merger panel yesterday (virtually or in person). If you weren't able to attend, please take some time to watch some of the discussion on our recorded live stream; there was some great discussion around optimal investment of public resources and the democratic process of a city/county merger.
As we enter the last week of the normal Missouri State Legislative session, we have an opportunity for one last push for progressive (or anti-regressive) policies.
Monday May 13: Hustle Happy Hour
When: 7-9 p.m. on Monday, May 13
Where: Urban Chestnut Brewing Company, the Grove (4465 Manchester Ave.)
What: This is the last week of MO State Legislature's regular session so this is the last change to advocate for just policies! Join us for a Hustle text bank to support Planned Parenthood and encourage Missourians to tell their lawmakers to oppose regressive legislation in our state!
