Feb. Meeting: Support our Candidates

Please join us and the candidates endorsed by our membership tomorrow night, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 6-9 p.m. @ Foam (3359 S. Jefferson Ave 63118). Endorsed candidates will be putting us to work on whatever tasks they need help with, like making calls and writing postcards.

  • Bring your fully charged phones, chargers, and positive energy.

  • Note: we are starting a little earlier than usual to give us plenty of time for calls.

  • Little ones are welcome and we will provide free on-site childcare.

The voter registration deadline is this Wednesday, Feb. 6!

Check to make sure you're registered at the correct address.

Take Action!

There is just over a month left until the #Aldergeddon2019 primary election. Check out our events page for the latest information — we will add events as candidates send them to us — and sign up to join our volunteer list. We'll make sure those who sign up are personally invited to canvassing events and other opportunities to support our endorsed candidates.

MDP Committees and Caucuses

Nominations/interest due by 5pm, Friday, Feb. 8
The Missouri Democratic Party is accepting nominations and volunteers to serve on MDP standing committees and caucuses. Please submit nominations or interest in serving at missouridemocrats.org/19nominations.

Most appointees do not need to be committee members, so feel free to share the nomination page with other active Democrats. Standing Committee appointments will be made the week of February 10th and an announcement will be made. A few committees require State Committee approval and will be slated for approval at the April 27th State Committee Meeting.

Bill Tracking Training with St. Charles Progressive Dems

Saturday, Feb. 9, 12-3pm @ St. Charles Police Department
1781 Zumbehl Rd, St. Charles, MO, 63303

The St. Charles Progressive Democrats invite all progressive groups to attend a training on Fast Democracy, a free online tool that tracks legislation at the state and federal levels. Now that the midterm elections are over, help hold all of our elected officials to account on issues we care about.

Anatolij Gelimson, creator of this tool, will be coming in from Kansas City to facilitate the training. Bring a fully charged WiFi-compatible tablet or laptop. This event is free, but donations will be accepted.
